Sleep heals Painting

Hello! My name is Yuliia Poraiko (Palij is my maiden name and pseudonym in my paintings). I am 34 years old. I am an artist from Ukraine. I used to live in my hometown of Ivano-Frankivsk. But recently I moved to the United States with my family. This is also where I work and actively develop my artistic career. In my artistic practice, I explore femininity, female nature, and its energy. I touch upon such topics as love, motherhood, and the importance of freedom for the feminine. I cover different states of women in the modern world, everyday problems, self-realization, fatigue, etc. In my works, I give free rein to the inner female voice. I am inspired by narratives from my own life or the lives of my family and friends, but the factors that shape world history also have a great influence on my work. I often show the visual image of femininity metaphorically, for example, in the form of flowers. Another important component of my works is the Fluid Art technique - changeable, deep, multifaceted and unpredictable... reminiscent of the very essence of a woman.
