Sleep - Where do we go when the lights go out No 2 Painting

This picture is inspired by sleep as in the title 'Where do we go when the lights go out. I get a lot from the thought of where do we go in our dreams I hope that viewers will look at this and think of all the time which is spent immersed in this other world always hoping that they will awake from good, bad, or whatever dreams to a fresh new day. I chose the medium acrylic as I like to work when I'm inspired so I like to use acrylic which dries a lot quicker than oil and gives me more time to work. The style of this picture as you can see is endless and just goes on and on. The canvas is covered in wire as I like the effect it gives in the way of construction like an endless tower block of people. So each two layers count as a separate flat with three lights out in each flat and the other one about to be turned off.
