Smokebreak Painting

I was born in Germany, a little town that will not be disclosed. I have since then traveled a good portion of the world. I have spent majority of my time living in Guam. Here I began to put my soul and the soul of others onto canvas. Here on this tiny island in the Pacific my art form began to grow from little doodles on math tests to canvases. They are now littered across the globe. I am a self taught artist with the help from a close friend and an established artist Ben Quinata. In my early years of creating I found that my art work was considered unacceptable by my instructors. But through the help of Ben and many other supporting friends and family I found that people did enjoy my work. I began to showcase my work in a bar called Old Traditions. Here my work would have the chance to be viewed by a wider selection of traveling people. This in turn began to build my fan base. Soon after I received my first commissions. With this new found confidence I have been able to push myself to learn new techniques and bring my artwork to new levels. I am always trying to push myself to produce a better piece then the last. I feel I can take on any medium and manipulate it to my will. Art has no rules, there should never be any rules. So how can anything ever be wrong. I hope to continue to bring light and faces to the demons we sometimes can’t describe. I hope that in some small way this helps people. I hope to one day have the chance to study under other established artist from across the world. But for now I am content with pushing boundaries.
