[SOLD] Flamboyance Painting

Flamboyance is very in your face and a true representation of the spontaneous emotions I work with and try to evoke. It is not subtle, not gentle, not sublime, not quiet. Flamboyance commands a persons attention the minute they see it. I was being very flamboyant with my emotions and self when I painted Flamboyance. I unrolled a large canvas roll and started working emotionally. Over a period of a month, I marked this canvas with my life and expressed a lot of me. This work of art is as spontaneous as me, as emotional as me, as flamboyant as I could be, as non apologetic! At the same time, keen observers would note the use of the fibonacci spiral employed strategically in the composition that catches the observer's eye. I would like this work of art to hang and be with an iconoclast who feels and lives as deeply and fully. My art is meant to move people because I was moved while creating it. I am not just creating a piece, I'm leaving my life on canvas. I've slept on this piece, cried on it, walked on and around it, hurt it, hated it, danced on it, erased it, cared for it, nurtured it with my hands and hair and feet, kneeled on and around it, hurt it, left it alone, been upset with, poured and splashed and dripped, splattered and thrown and gone nuts and sat and jumped and slapped it!
