Solid Rod XXXIII Painting

This artwork has been exhibited at 'The Other Art Fair' in London in October 2023. It is framed in a brown wood frame of 47.63 x 47.63 x 2.16 inches with regular transparent glass. It comes with its hooks ready to hang as it was shown at TOAF London in October 2023. These ‘Solid Rods’ series belong to a bigger series titled 'Engineering' and they are the abstract representation of a solid metallic rod cut transversally (because if we observe any metal microscopically we can see that the cut generates thin lines in the metal due to its molecular structure). This Solid Rod XXXIII has been painted with acrylic brass colour on ‘oxide red’ colour on a 100% cotton 'BFK Rives' paper with deckled edges through numerous lines with a thin brush that creates a subtle texture and it is intersected vertically by a thin assembly of wood also painted with acrylic. It is a unique piece as it is only this combination of colours brass on ‘oxide red’ in this size that it has been made.
