2020, the year of the Coronavirus pandemic ... thousands of dead ... quarantine, isolation, confinement, loneliness, solitude, madness, depression, crisis ... the spaces of coexistence are reduced. Only the most intimate. Large public spaces are empty. Medicine and science hesitate undecided. Political and economic interests override the existence of individuals. Death hovers. Meanwhile, the artists transform loneliness into solitude (the pleasure of being alone) and produce. Every work of art produced in this period is an artistic chronicle about these dark times.
