About The Artwork
Geometric and primordial, this piece offers a meditation on time. Softly marbled motifs float across the mustard yellow and coral pink painterly backgrounds as well as reveals the wood sub straight beneath. Gold leaf gilding accents the motifs. This painting is one in an ongoing body of work, titled 'Cosmic Archeology' that expresses various mental constructs, cultural mythos, and natural phenomenon through a reductive visual language. This work is a triptych composed of three separate paintings, each is 8x12" and each hangs independently in a custom-made wood frame. Signed on the back.
