About The Artwork
Oil painted on board and framed with a glass covering, ready to hang. Spirit of the outback was painted in 2010 when visiting the outback of Australia, inspired by the dry grasses and the dead trees through the outback. The colors were inspired by the sand storms they have in the outback, The spirit name came form the finished product where in behind the tree it looks like there is a spirit of a person, not intentionally done, however the spirit just appeared. I choose the medium "oil" because it was befitting with the class of beauty within the outback.
