About The Artwork

Technical information: Material/medium: Linen Canvas, Mid.grain. Master Class Oil Paints, St-Petersburg, natural high-quality pigments. Tolls: brush The main image of the painting was taken using a photo scanner Epson v370 with 600dpi density Story: I love these hills outside the city. There are villages here that I like to cycle through. It is very beautiful here in spring. There is a lake with fish, where you can catch a good specimen in the reeds. It is May, and the fruit trees are covered with flowers, and the nightingales are singing in the forest. I took two canvases on stretchers, a backpack with paints, a tent and drove to this place. By bike, of course. I was going to paint two pictures and leave them to dry in a tent in a secluded place. I didn't have time to finish both in one day, and the next day it started raining and the weather turned bad, and I had to leave. One of my friends came to pick me up in a car and I took both canvases away. I left the tent to dry. I decided that I would pick her up when I come here fishing in a couple of days. But when I returned, it was gone. Somebody stole. There was also a sleeping bag, because I was going to come to spend the night. But the paintings turned out to be quite good and the nightingales sang great... Location Coordinates: 53.789645, 27.480647

I was born in Belarus, in Minsk. Then I learned to walk. A little later I learned to dive to the depth with one breath. Then I got into the mountains and It became part of my home, as well as the depths of the seas and oceans. I started taking people to the mountains as a guide. I like to share with them the most that I have. Sometimes I teach someone to dive and together we enjoy the depth and beauty of the ocean. Then I learned to fly a paraglider, and the sky also became my home and necessity. Element. Wildlife. People. With whom we manage to share really big steps and dreams. Roads. Countries. Wild landscapes and adventures. I never thought what and how to draw or paint, and whether it is worth it. Since childhood. My art is the result of spontaneous living. This is not an end in itself. This is an irresistible consequence. I just draw and paint how I feel and need it. I don't want to be guided by styles and trends, become hostage to this or that technique or niche. I don’t want to look back at tradition, fashion and praise. I want to always remain honest with myself, people and Nature, the nature of everything. If, having felt and discovered something that shocked and delighted you, you can "keep silent", then don't start painting. But I can't... I use different tools and types of paint and materials. Depends on time, location and availability. I can arrive with a full oil painting backpack and climb high in the mountains or in the sands, or sit in the middle of a stormy sea trying to translate the rumble into color. But in jail, it might just be a pen and pencil. No matter. Oil, watercolor, acrylic, various graphic tools. I think that the main thing is not this, but what has become too much to stay inside you, and what you want to share with other people. And is it there. I consider it magic when it is possible to make the world common like this, at least in the space of the picture. But still, my Queen has always been and is - oil paints. When we once again rise to the top of a large mountain, and I am leading the group, there, behind the clouds, on the summit plateau, I let them go forward, I like to see how they reach that cherished point to which we worked so long and hard. And I think this is a great Victory when in them, in people, then there is something else, besides just a photo from the top. Up there, nothing remains of them, whatever they are. People. All unnecessary - flew away along the way.
