ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This is the second painting in a series of 3 pictures that I have dedicated to the “starving artists” in the world who can’t make a living off their art, though art is their passion. The subject matter itself has little to do with any representation of “starving” but the paintings done thus far have been on an intentionally empty stomach facilitating the starving bit. It’s also a personal series in that I, too, have not sold yet on this site and I’ve been on here for over a year.
