Inspired to write a still life – a historical, deep and at the same time simple approach. It is surprising that in the period of the 16-17 centuries, household items and food in works of art had a symbolic meaning. And artists of that time, drawing still lifes, put a special meaning. For example: the presence of a skull in the picture - symbolized - everything is perishable-death; the artist's palette is a symbol of belonging to art; a burning candlestick is a symbol of life, if the candle is extinguished, it meant that the owner is no longer in this world; clock – transience; the pen is a symbol of poetry and literature; drawings, notebooks, sheet music -a symbol of art, culture; books are a symbol of science and knowledge A degree, a chair is a favorite vacation spot. A glass, a bowl, a cup, a charka, fruit, bread – pleasant cheerful meetings. And if we combine this format of still life things into a story, we get a beautiful story: My dear friend, all the fuss and fuss, memories tickle our souls! How much time we spent together in this office, talking about sciences, music and art. How many dishes we tasted together, and life goes on and everything in it is fleeting and only one thing can be completed – LIFE is SHORT, ART IS ETERNAL!

My name is Natalia Popova. I have been a freelance artist since 2012 years. I live and work in Moscow. Today, for me, painting is both passion and work. My source of inspiration are people and travel! Their stunning images are incredibly multifaceted and therefore my paintings are the result of reflection of feelings and emotions, beauty and tenderness, perseverance and perseverance, passion for victory, and sometimes meekness, purity, and obedience. "How long have I been a painter?" I will answer – "Since childhood, I think by the fact of birth – according to the sign of the zodiac, I am "Fish" and my mother, noticing my abilities, took me to the academic youth art school, which opened for me the doors at 6 years to this beautiful world of creativity which decorates not only the interiors of our houses, offices, streets, but also educates taste, instills interest to the History of Art, helps us understand innovated , sometimes even crazy artistic people who create incredible works. It's a world of fantasy and reality at the same time. There are so many talents and fans that it is difficult to say who is more important in this world. My works are diverse and unique, as I paint mainly to order and focus on customers, their preferences, character, interior and lifestyle. I paint in the style of painting realism, modernism, expressionism, in the genre of the portrait, silhouette. Most of all, I like to paint of an oil, use acrylic for mixed techniques, and a dry brush with palette knife. They are my main tools for work.
