About The Artwork

This still life with a plaster horse head, like any other, carries a certain meaning, originally presented by the artist. This meaning can be understood by us by the master's idea, since the purpose of still life is to interact with the viewer, delivering to him the information contained in it. The art of this genre presupposes a certain system of symbols and signs that carry a certain series of complex associations, often supplemented by texts. Even Confucius remarked: “The world is not ruled by words and laws, and signs and symbols ”. Why are symbolic meanings given? To understand the ways of development of the human population and art as one of her main spiritual stimuli. Symbols often serve us as invisible helpers in life and can be recognized in objective reality. The ancient masters unswervingly followed the sign and symbolic system. And they were able to convey to us the realities of that time: how people understood this world, what they followed and how they lived. In principle, in our time, too, everything is being built on the symbols of the conscious and unconscious. They are everywhere. But still life is a symbol laid down by the artist and transmitted by him to read. What will we understand and what will we take for ourselves? This work is done in the antique style, about which says the plaster head of a horse, Greek inscriptions, scrolls of papers. Still life telling about knowledge and creativity and at the same time about the fragility of being, based on the ascent of the spirit through intellect, art, and intuition. hat do you see in this? I was born and live in Saint Petersburg, Russia. I began my career at the art school in 2010, later I studied at the art gymnasium at the St.Peterburg Stieglitz Art Academy (2013-2015). Most of the basic knowledge and skills I received in the gymnasium. After graduation, as the winner of the All-Russian Olympiad of schoolchildren in art, l entered the St.Petersburg State University of Industrial Technologies and Design at the Institute of Decorative and Applied Arts without exams.I learnt various teqchniques such as mosaics, embroidery, stained glass, tapestries etc.In 2018-2020 I was coached by monumental artist professor and academician Alexander Bystrov, and easel artist professor and academician Pesikov V.S. when I was an auditor in their workshops at the St.Petersburg Academy of Arts. These workshops was a logical progression of my academic training. Now I am a student at the St.Petersburg Academy of Arts. I took first and prize places in various art spaces and competitions and also acted as an expert at creative forums and festivals in St.Petersburg. I lead many masterclasses among the creative youth of St.Peterburg. In the process of learning different techniques and using different materials, a worldview was formed and valuable experience was gained. Thus, skills and abilities accumulated gradually, these are painting, graphics, batik, wall painting, and many more. I like to work in various techniques and always get new impressions, develop new opportunities. I love experiments and discoveries for myself in my creation. After all, each artist represents individuality, his vision of the world, and conveys it in his way. At this stage of my life, I am most fascinated by oil painting and graphic portraits. I do paint quickly and immediately move on to the next work or I paint several works at once, simultaneously sketches for them. Any kind of creativity is a way of communicating one's own kind, a way of expressing the human essence in this world. What does a contemplative person experience when looking at a work of art? Is it possible to compreand the hidden language of the transmitted? If so, then he takes a step towards gainino access to that part of our mind that is beyond our control. This is the discovery of the unknown in the subconscious, which, as you know, open up new horizons of knowledge. Works are in private collections in Europe and Russia.
