About The Artwork
Once i was in Zagreb, and the old city just conquered me. So small, cosy and soulful. Beautiful houses, so many cafes on the streets, paving. When i went downstairs from observation deck, the end of this street was so narrow and all the people looked under the feet, because they scared to fell. But when i looked up, i saw bright sunny sky and opened window with flowers on it. The wall was so beautiful yellow color with contrast shadow. It was the moment when you realise, that nobody saw this perfect place. I thought that people need more look up, see all the beautiful world around,dream more and be happy without special reason. And this open window like invited you to happiest life. I tried to show in this painting that bright colors of happies life, of this magical moment. I tried that you feel this magic and take it in every day of your life. The shadow , wall and sky i made with oil paintings, because the colors mixed together exactly like i saw it. But the windows i made with tempera painings, it gives very clean colors and straight shape. Mix of emotions and strict lines.

I graduaded Saint Petersburg Academy of art and design. After that i work in different places, but painting and photography is my truly passion. I can be inspired in every moment or second of life. How the sun shining across the trees, how beautiful can be old houses. Most of time it will be very bright colors and game of light and shadow. When i started travel the word opened in so many ways, like architecture of europe, colors of east, nature of north. I use different tectique to det that effect, wha i feel: how overwrite colors in oil paint, how soft picture can be with pastels despite the straight sharp lines, how wonderful can be only one pencil.
