About The Artwork
If you're familiar with Jackson Pollock, you might think that he was the primary influence for this work. In part, you would be correct, though the abstract drizzling of paint onto the eight large surfaces was primarily a method of covering the working surfaces with an abstract design that I could create easily and quickly, with a result that would be an interesting and eye-pleasing pattern. The front side of this very large art screen has a black background with a subtle underlying line pattern, while the back side has a dark gray background with a muted line pattern underneath the white line work. The monochromatic coloring of this large screen complements any decor, and serves as a portable, configurable wall, as well as a large movable artwork that makes a stunningly creative focal point in any indoor space.
