The work is part of the series entitled "The edge" (of the forest). This area represents a transit to the interior of the forest, a place where the vegetation is often represented by an agglomeration of bushes that grow at the foot of the trees creating a real dam that is difficult to overcome. I noticed that from a plastic point of view this area has special valences. Starting from a reality, once the gaze penetrates the instep of the thicket, the image tends to have a sometimes abstract aspect. The abstract approach in this project refers to a series of works that resulted from a journey from reality to the perception of an image that we know for sure is real and perfect, to the way we look at it and what exactly results from this analysis, a dance of looking and imagining, a kind of mirage in which a multitude of images unfold. These images can be clear, blurred, intuitive or even imagined.
