About The Artwork
A unique fusion of fine art photography and painting ! Sunrise brings a serenade beyond the dark silence of the night. The tender light gently touches the water and the reeds, in a duet with the wind In recent months, the fine art photographer Jacob Berghoef (Denmark) and I have been collaborating in various ways in the creation of new artworks. With this artwork "Sunrise Serenade" we have taken a new path: I painted on a print of one of Jacob's photographs. The photo is printed on museum quality Hahnemühle Photo Rag. I painted with ink and watercolor. The buyer of this work will receive it from me, signed and with certificate of authenticity. Jacob made his impressionistic photo which forms the basis of this artwork, in March 2019 in south-east Sweden. Hundreds of small islands lie off the coast of south-east Sweden. They usually consist of no more than rocky soil with shrubs and trees, surrounded by a collar of reeds. On this beautiful winter day, at sunrise the light plays a serenade on the reeds, accompanied by the wind.
