Sunset Through the Foggy Haze Painting

Sunset Through the Foggy Haze is a contemporary, abstract liquid artwork done using fluid techniques. This gentle, soft piece was created using acrylic paints, pigments and resin (epoxy) on a Baltic birch wood panel. The background is a light, silver grey with magenta, light rose, portrait pink, white, black and silver metallic highlights. The resin lends a watery, reflective, modern flare to the piece. All of my paintings are shipped ready-to-hang. This painting has a soft, gentle, quality. I painted this piece in early fall, on a day that started out quite foggy. The sun came out at mid-day, and lent a pink, magenta color to the silvery grey of the dissipating fog. Fog has always had a magical quality for me, particularly during the early days of fall, Fall is a magical, quiet, introspective time of year for me; it lies between the seasons of light and dark, warm and cold, between meaning and understanding. I hope that this piece will remind you of that wonderful time of year as well.
