This picture of Sa Rapita Bay on Mallorca Island shows sunset after a strom had passed by. The grey clouds are still a reminder of the strom but the light of the setting sun visible through the clouds dips the sky and the bay in a magic turquoise light. "Sunset in Sa Rapita Bay" won a Special Recognition Award in the category Painting & Other Category of the Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery's 6th Annual “Landscapes” Art Competition in April 2016

Being outside in nature is a great source of inspiration, and the photos taken during trips are the basics that I transform into paintings in my studio. My acrylic or oil paintings feature sceneries of the real world in a figurative, realistic style. The main element that continues to fascinate me is the colour blue in all its possible facets and shades. It is a fundamental element in almost all of my paintings. My aim is to capture on canvas the emotions hidden behind the sceneries and to inspire the viewer to immerse into the light and atmosphere of this very special moment.
