ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This piece started as a small 5x7" painting on paper, but after falling in love with the composition, I wanted to make it giant. While the two pieces look identical, the scale makes them feel so different. I love works that feel all encompassing when in front of them, and this does that for me. The bright colors wash over you, but the small marks and handwritten words make you stop to pay more attention. It's a real experience.
