Night seascape painting on canvas | The boat sails towards sunrise. This painting is made to order. The painting is deep, atmospheric, thoughtful. The boat symbolizes a person, and its direction is moving towards the light. To epiphany, to self-awareness. The event takes place on a quiet night, under a starry sky. To the left is a cliff face. I didn't detail the sky and the pine trees growing on top of the cliff. All attention is focused on the boat - it is the only clearly detailed object. I've been using this technique for a long time. Like subject photography, there is only one, the most important, object in focus. Everything else is just a background, just an addition. It's like meditation: focusing on just one thought. Everything else dissolves into space. Do you feel this deep peace that I feel? + They say my paintings are soothing. I create deep, atmospheric landscapes that are suggestive. I create smooth subtle transitions, a small number of colors and objects that promote relaxation. I use only high-quality materials. The paint, with proper storage of paintings, retains its saturation for up to 100 years. Acrylic on cotton canvas with a density of 380 g/m2. The pine stretcher exudes the aroma of wood. Gallery wrapped canvas. The work is signed on both sides. Each of my paintings is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.

Veronika Kryukova was born in 1994 in the Far East off the coast of the Sea of Japan, in Russia. Her grandmother instilled in her a love of painting and nature, and her father instilled in her. In 2008, she entered the Marx Children's Art School, where Veronika was accepted immediately into the second grade, and from the third she immediately moved to the fourth. So, in 2009, she received a diploma with honors in Fine Arts. Due to some events, she did not paint for several years, and in 2019 decided to make painting the main business of her life. Veronika creates abstract landscapes inspired by nature. She is attracted to secluded, quiet places where everyone can be alone with themselves. Her deep, muted works immerse the viewer and prompt reflections. The artist's works are an offer to relax, to escape from the noise. This is an offer to listen to yourself, get rid of the pretense, discover what's inside, be honest and live your own life. Veronika finds the understatement and incompleteness of the work funny and attractive. At the same time, she strives for a unified visual and tactile aesthetics, so she pays great attention to working with the texture of the material, creating matte, rough surfaces. She is attracted to the philosophy of wabi-sabi. And also, Veronika likes to create atmospheric videos with the painting process, you can see them on YouTube.
