About The Artwork
I found these Tarpon in Cartagena fish market. They are an amazing air-breathing fish, which rise to the ocean surface and dance in a 'daisy chain' loop one following the other in wide arcs. Nobody knows why they do this. This picture captures the mystery of these creatures. The image is dreamy, emotive, reaching for the light, instinctive. These Tarpon are my vehicle to explore the human quest for life, freedom and individuation.
