My art works say more through their tactility than their look, it translates and underlines the attachment to the senses. My work asks the viewer to feel more rather than think. I'm interested in the shapes and textures of poor matter, creating dimensions of painting allied to sculpture, through visual elements and also sensorial and tactile spaces. My “paintings” are extracted from these natural objects and organic materials in my efforts to find and transmit signals that identify Mankind. My Painting is closely associated with formless and abstractionism art: Matter Painting, even in some cases there is a figurative and symbolic repertoire, based on the human figure (metaphor of women in relation to the "motherland") and based on elements of pre-history (menhirs, venus). It is a metaphor of women in relation to the "earth-mother" and a return to mother source, which results in the union of the body with earth in a physical and metaphorical harmony. The earth is the universal substance, the primal chaos, the raw material and symbolizes the maternal function: Tellus Matter. Gives and takes life. I am influenced by mythological explanations related to the origin and creation of man. The fascination with primitive art, such as Prehistory. All my work seats in a calligraphy of the spirit, the transmission of impulses, reflections, feelings, that are transformed into form and plastic thought, very close to a symbolic repertoire and a manual work on the substance matter.

The vision of myself and my work is covered with many layers of misty images, capturing absence and presence of my body and mind, things are partially or mostly veiled and camouflaged by a skin or a mask. I collate a reservoir of symbolic references. A tactile space dominates, aiming past languages and past stories. The pieces have parallel versions of stories and histories petrified and perpetuated as emblems and symbols, that move through different timelines, I and the "other side of the mirror". | (under construction)
