About The Artwork
Painted in January 2019, "The Acorn" is a collection of abstract elements arranged in harmony creating an overall psychological dream-scape scene. Parts of the painting are seemingly unfinished, other parts are perfected. The mixture of styles and shapes all within one piece display a type of visual thinking which set into motion the artist; Lee's new spontaneous style which has been a staple of his recent work. Varnished for a gloss finish with UV protection. The edges of the canvas are painted black. Signed "lee" and dated "01.19" bottom right corner. Wired and ready to hang.
