“Caught between Skylla and Charybdis” was the ancient equivalent to our “stuck between a rock and a hard place.” As I learned in school even brave Mr. Oysseus could not make a choice. In game theory, a "no-win" situation is a circumstance in which no player benefits from any outcome, hence ultimately loosing the match. In life (and painting) it may be the decision to let it go to the point another one „sucks the dust“. In addition, there are feelings that you do not understand, can not describe. But you will always have a feeling that something is just missing inside your soul.
