Painting is varnished with archival formula.The frame is wired and ready to hang. Synopsis: I came across the word “postbiological” man from the graphic novel “Transmetropolitan” (Vertigo Comics) in the early 1990’s when social media and the internet was barely in existence. It was an idea that one’s consciousness (the soul) can be transferred into a matrix of computer servers- thus achieving “immortality”. Nowadays, it is a common phenomenon that everyone in the world could upload their profile and their “essence” into Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc. Is this the way to our own immortality, a pixelated paradise?
