About The Artwork
The idea of painting a black sheep born remembering an old story when I shared apartment with my friend Jimmy. One day her little daughter took a small plastic sheep to the apartment, nobody knows where she took it from. We found it funny, because the toy was very damaged and dirty, so we decided to clean it and paint it in black, to give more life and presence to the new member at home. The sheep shine like new and the black gave a lot of presence in the department. So this became a symbol of that enclosure where two black sheep lived and the new member of plastic represented us very well. But my painting is not black that all, It has many shades of colors, highlighting the joy of the stray lamb. So here's a tribute to the old symbol.

Every moment I am questioning and admiring everything, both within me and the world around me and the worlds that I imagine could surround me. I was born in 1982, in the city of Puntarenas, Costa Rica. From childhood I have been curious to understand the things around me, trying not to lose details along the way; However, many of them have not been possible to understand, so I've chosen to paint it. Maybe someone can understand them some day , and when I die, maybe more people will keep trying to understand them. And maybe someday, a good day, it will finally happen. That retransmission of an idea, a message over time, is simply awesome. My art philosophy is to open myself to art lovers and through my paintings I show them my inner light, their light. That's why I decided to share my art with everyone.
