About The Artwork
In this piece, I was very choosy with my colors. I often just sort fly by the seat of my pants when it comes to color selection, but this time I picked a very specific set of colors and used gravity as my only paint manipulation. It's called "the Bottom Edge" because as the painting dried, lots of runny paint collected at the bottom edge of the painting and created a very appealing mixture.
