My work arises from moral and existential tension. I paint, because that inner unrest demands form — when I’m troubled and helpless by human and divine indifference, injustice, or the silence of faith. Through the human figure, I explore emotional states of disillusionment, quiet defiance, and moral fatigue. My subjects often mirror my inner self: composed yet burdened, detached yet alive with confrontation. I work in a figurative style with a touch of contemporary expressionism, using traditional media that connect me to the legacy of classicism. Portraiture allows me to question the complexities of human experience — the paradox of seeking meaning in a transient world. Painting brings momentary relief, but never closure; each work continues my dialogue with faith, doubt, and the need to endure.
