About The Artwork
The original painting is 9x15" and serves as the lid that houses a fine art book, "Apsara" that refers to a Hindu origin myth, the Churning of the Sea of Milk. Each of the 20 acrylic paintings on a wood panel evokes the tumult and movement of the sea. Images from this series were then used as projections across a 40' stage for a solo dance, "Apsara".
