About The Artwork
My daughter was the inspiration for this painting. She was getting her hair done and she stated that she wanted it to be combed out and not braided on her first week of school. I also imagined her rushing to leave before completely combing all of her hair! I do hope it will take the viewers back to when they had their hair combed and shaped. I want them to remember... the feeling you had when you had your hair done and you are ready to go. I chose acrylic because that is all I can afford plus, I love it! I love drawing faces; also, incorporating different colors with words or letters in my art is my forte!
