About The Artwork

An original flower painting inspired by Castor Hanglands National Nature Reserve near where I live and where I have been many times both working and for pleasure. The flowers of the wildflowers of the Reserve are portrayed in this colourful statement piece of art in many multi-colours. A dramatic hand painted, textured piece for your walls, this painting will brighten your mood on any dull day with its vibrant colours and use of glitter and metallic paints. The picture doesn’t do it justice, the leaves and flowers are made up of layers which glisten and shine as you view the painting from different viewpoints. No frame needed for this vibrant wall art, as the edges are painted too. Standing at 100cm x 100 x 4cm, with the fixings included. ———————————- My inspiration for this painting My first memory of this reserve was as a young conservationist visiting for the first time on a glorious summer day being thrown the tractor keys and being asked to but the hay meadow. I duly obliged. I still wonder if it was a test to see how I would respond to the challenge! I love the mix of habitats on this site, woodland, grasslands and ponds, the spring woodland flowers, the summer meadow flowers and the autumn leaves of the trees. This is part of John Clare country where The famous poet John Clare wandered through these meadows and the following is one of his poems. The happy white throat on the sweeing bough Swayed by the impulse of the gadding wind That ushers in the showers of april – now Singeth right joyously and now reclined Croucheth and clingeth to her moving seat To keep her hold and till the wind for rest Pauses she mutters inward melody That seems her hearts rich thinkings to repeat And when the branch is still her little breast Swells out in raptures gushing symphonies And then against her brown wing softly prest The wind comes playing an enraptured guest This way and that she swees – till gusts arise More boisterous in their play – when off she flies. POET John Clare  This painting has fine glitters and sequins that sparkle in the changing light giving a changing depth to the painting throughout the day. ——————————— About Charron I am about creating connections. Between people and the natural world. Between the mind, body and spirit. Between people, their stories and their message to the world. Between emotions, intuition and energies that are present in our lives. My art is about allowing the creation and the magic to unfold naturally, in the moment and in an intuitive way that evolves visually before me through both paintings and installations and embracing the unknown by channelling the inspiration from the experiences and knowledge of the world around me. I rarely plan any of my work as I trust myself on an emotional and creative level to create the work that I feel deep within my heart. My work comes from the heart. It comes from my spirit and emotions. I connect with our inner child to create art that is vibrant and colourful with deep meaning. My art is an exploration of our spiritual selves. It is taking my imagination and putting the intangible beauty into an earthly form for you to deeply connect with on a spiritual and a happiness level. Most of my work is inspired by nature and the outdoor world both of which are connected by the stories and messages that each can convey through art. My art is a constant journey of discovery, leading to new places and new ideas. There will never be enough time to create all that I want and need to show and share with the world. “Each artist follows their own spiritual path. You have to believe that it’s your dream and your life and you have permission to be who you want to be. As an artist you must work and create to let your ideas or energies become reality. You have to make space for the ideas and inspiration to flow to create and develop new work. No one can tell you what to do. You act on your intuition and forge your own path. You need to be tenacious, to work hard, to follow your own true path.” Charron ——————————— Measurements and care instructions This is a unique, statement piece of art in acrylics, metallics and fine glitters on block canvas. The size is 120 x 120x 4cm and is painted on the edges of the board so there is no need for you to add a frame. Also included will be the fixings for hanging the painting. Please remember that Photographs do not show the gorgeous shimmer of the metallic paints and glitters. These will be a additional pleasure when you unpack your painting after purchase!

I began painting in 2010 following a professional career in wildlife conservation and the environment. My art is therefore inspired by my passion and interest in nature and places that I visit and love. I have always been an advocate of colour and texture believing that they can affect our mood and positivity in ways we may or may not understand. Being an extrovert and positive person generally, I have always been drawn to strong bright colours and hence when I started painting that influence showed in my work. Painting for me draws out the emotions around my love of nature and the outdoors. I am outside whenever I can be and I love traveling and exploring new places that then may inspire me to paint. I am a happy positive person and I want to bring joy, positivity and happiness to others through my painting as I believe focusing on the positives can help us live in a way that give us and others true depth and satisfaction. I am about creating connections. Most of my paintings are in acrylics as I love the strength and vibrancy of the colours they give on the canvas. I also use metallics and fine glitters to give a changing feel in different light conditions. I like to paint big..the bigger the better as I can be very extrovert in each piece moving and standing as I paint to give impact with each subject. I am about creating connections. Between people and the natural world. Between the mind, body and spirit. Between people, their stories and their message to the world. Between emotions, intuition and energies that are present in our lives.
