Mary is London-raised Dutch artist who currently lives in Amsterdam. She has been painting since 2016 and is on a quest to capture her thoughts. She often paints with bold colours, but layers them with softer tones resulting in a whimsical image that represent the spaces in between and just before thoughts. She describes painting as: 'I believe paintings exist even before I paint them. It's like each artwork whispers to me and asks to be made. Painting, to me, is a conversation and collaboration with that whisper.'
