Acrylic on Canvas. The Godfather. A series of famous movie scenes. Michael gets acquainted with his new Sicilian homeland. – In a very long film sequence, Francis Ford Coppola paints a rural idyll bathed in light and warmth. The men finally reach the town of Corleone. Three men in the light. – The surfaces and contours blur in the midday sun. Matte shades with a lot of gray contrast with very dark, indistinct objects and make the white surfaces shine in a special way.

Delivery Time:Typically 5-7 business days for domestic shipments, 10-14 business days for international shipments.

I capture such cinematic moments in which the viewer's distance to what is happening dissolves while watching and one enters the other world directly. It's that magic moment I like to condense in a single picture. This often results in very quiet portraits but also cinematic scenes that often only hint at one plot and yet contain the whole story. In addition to my cinema stories, I paint large landscapes, figurative portraits of children and abstract pictures in acrylic and mixed media. In addition, I make miniatures using an old encaustic wax technique.
