Art Description

Painting: Acrylic, Paint, Marker, Stencil on Canvas, Paper, Wood.

Crows are the most intelligent birds, and they adapted very well to the city life. They have a mind of gold, as a precious treasure, and I like to depict their eyes with gold paint as a transparency of such treasure. This is a small tribute to an often misinterpreted species.
In this series of paintings I have incorporated natural elements to complement the magnificence of the crows.
In this project I imagined a golden fall, with golden leaves that are released from their prison by a gusty wind. I think the crow is the bird that stays when the cold season starts. In a way, for me, its familiar warm cawing spreads the idea of pride for being so strong. In contrast this is a small canvas with delicate elements like the naturally dried leaves and the small branch.
