The Journey Among Sisters Painting

- The piece draws attention to this "idea" of a Journey. What does it entail? How does it merge and intertwine with one's "purpose"? - This is the story of three sisters whom were brought up in disadvantaged circumstances, they are growing up ultimately to lead their own lives, and they realize education places them at much closer proximity of worthwhile success. - I have used a bag material, a particular bag which a historical significance in Black African communities. The is a metaphor for a Journey, thus, mirrors the journey of the tree sisters.
