About The Artwork

Kamancha is a bowed instrument that is very much used in the Armenian music as well as in its neighboring countries. Music, as a unifying force, has the remarkable ability to bring people together, and folk instruments, in particular, serve as powerful symbols of this harmonious connection among diverse cultures. Within this artistic representation, the musician girl symbolizes the common cultural heritage that binds these regions together, despite the challenges of political conflicts. This artwork underscores the idea that culture, music, and the musicians themselves serve as advocates for peace and friendship, transcending geopolitical divisions to cultivate unity among nations and cultures
