I finished the picture late in the evening. The result was a strange foggy landscape. In the upper right corner of the canvas is a dark spot that I called a portal. I was not sure that I liked the picture. I thought: in the morning I’ll decide whether to leave her or not. In the morning, I was surprised to find that facial features began to appear against the background of trees. It became interesting to me, and I began to observe the metamorphoses of my landscape. During the day, the face became clearer. In the evening, another character appeared at the top of the canvas - a dragon (or a giant bird unknown to me) with wings - clouds. I just added a few touches to make the faces clearer, and called the painting “The Keepers of the Portal”. Such a story ...
