'The Major Lift' is a beautiful textured abstract painting in soft and dramatic tones that comes framed and ready to hang. It was fuelled by the energy spent whilst seeking perfection... aided by K D Lang's version of Hallelujah, I hope it brings something to ya. My work is inspired by a combination of music that moves my heart and life's everyday events - a word, a triggered memory or the elements in a undiscovered street that catch my eye, to a wave crashing on a morning walk. I call these my lifescapes. This original painting in cool tones is a fab piece to get lost in or a great conversation starter and would be right at home in any cosy space that needs that artwork with punch. It is signed on the front cheryl H., with full signature and titled on the back. It comes in a gloss white wooden frame and wired ready to hang on your wall.

“I’ve lived a little. I’ve travelled a lot. My work is an expression of life experiences, places, moments, music, good times and bad. I will begin with a memory, a photo, or perhaps wherever the music takes me. I’m not trying to answer life’s riddles, it’s more like… this is how I’m feeling… can you feel it too?”.
