The market Painting

I love exploring markets to find inspiration for artworks and to find good art materials. What I noticed was that markets are such a place where you can find the widest range of emotions. There are curious people, happy people, sad, tired etc… In India, the markets look dirty and unkept but are actually very well organized, for example, if you ask someone for a particular product, they will show you a street only for those kinds of products. Another factor is that the more chaotic and crowded a market the more vibrant it is. You can experience so many emotions, colors sounds in one place. I realized there is alot to express and the best way to do it was to try cubism style. This painting is the first of my experiments on cubism. I have used acrylic paints on canvas for this particular work because I needed to paint multiple layers and needed very sharp brush strokes.
