The Midnight Sun Painting

My artwork is a celebration of the natural world, capturing its essence rather than representing specific landscapes. I aim to evoke the feeling of freedom found in vast, untouched spaces—where big skies meet rugged mountains, cliffs dive into the sea, and forests teem with life. Each piece is a balance of colors, lines, tones, textures, and shapes, created intuitively to convey the raw beauty of nature. I use various techniques to build layers and textures on the canvas, including scratches, impasto, and scraping, along with adding and removing paint. These elements, combined with careful use of lines, marks, and gestures, bring my compositions to life. My goal is for viewers to feel an emotional connection to the natural world through my work, experiencing the same rhythm and force of nature that inspires me—a visual poetry that stirs the imagination.
