Artist Serge M Artems Experimental Abstract Expressionist Hello and Welcome my dear friends, art lovers, art collectors and respectful visitors. My name is Serge M Artems. I was born and raised in Russia, then moved to USA in 2008 and now living in Dallas TX. I love art in all its directions and developments. I've been drawing since early childhood and still perfecting my technique. At Russia I lived close to famous republican Art and Musical Academy, but my parents didn't have ability to pay for my education at that academy. So, I just watched the students through the fence, as they created their paintings and I was a little bit envy of them. That how I started my self-education. I started practice in various techniques of drawing and painting. Although I don't have an any art education, those knowledge doesn't prevent me from being a creative artist. Because these educational standards didn't affect me and I have my own unique vision of this world, that gives me a different level of creativity which I expressing through my artworks and music. Yes, I'm a self-educated artist and musician and I'm happy with that! What is Art for me? Art is everything. Everything that surrounds me and space of my stay here and now - is Art! My favorite styles of art are abstract, cubism, impressionism and surrealism, but I love to be creative and do some experiments with different techniques. That why I call my technique "Experimental Abstract Expression" And now you can see from my artwork that I can paint and create art in various techniques and use different mixed medium on my artwork. I think it doesn't really matter what kind of techniques you are using in your work, or you have an any art degree or you are self-teaching, What is matter, that you do it with love and soul!
