ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Inspired by the Holy Scriptures as recorded in St. Matthew 7:3 - 4.The subject matter is regarding self-righteousness, and blind judgment in the critiquing others. The question posed was, "Why do you criticize your brother for having a speck, or piece of saw dust in his eye, when you have a whole construction beam in your own?" I would like the viewers to know that righteousness judgment is necessary, but hypocritical judgment is absolutely self destructive. My endeavor is to make biblical statements visible and easier to embrace. Acrylics are fluid, flow together easily and dry at an excellent rate.
