About The Artwork
The Music of the Cosmos was inspired by my love of the nighttime sky. During the pandemic, the stars have become much more visible from the city; it's been a time of endless revelry and healing for me. I chose black as the base, like the sky, with silver, blue and pink to represent the cosmos, the unknown. With its black background, pops of vivid color and glasslike resin finish, I hope that this painting will draw the viewer into the piece so that they too can find a degree of peace in enjoying a unique piece of fine art.

I’m a Toronto-based artist focusing on abstract, contemporary, nature-focused liquid art done on canvas or wood panels. I typically work with acrylics, resins, metallic pigments and other mixed mediums using a variety of traditional and non-traditional techniques which are themselves closely connected with nature – water, wind, air and gravity – to achieve the unique, colorful and gentle effects that typify my work.
