This is a representation of our walk through life. The white, including the sides of the canvas, represent the purity of that we seek of living a good life. The red represents our walk through a fallen world with all the sin and debauchery that surrounds us on all sides. There are flecks of 24k gold leaf within the painting representing the lure of material gains along the path. We have to find our way through, stay on the narrow path and keep focussed on all that is good and pure. Acrylic and 24k gold leaf on stretched canvas. The sides are painted white ready to hang direct, or frame.

Jamie is a British artist, living in Paraguay, South America. He visited the country in 2004 for just two months to brighten up a children's home with some murals and teach the kids drumming. However, he fell in love with Paraguay, moved there, got married there, and has been there ever since. He continues to brighten walls in schools, children’s homes and hospitals across the country with his art. Through his mural painting process he honed his pop art style and sells his original painted canvases across the world through SaatchiArt. He is also a vector illustrator and is approaching 100,000 illustration sales worldwide. His aim with his paintings is to recreate the perfectly sharp lines of his vectors on painted canvas, and like his mural painting, to brighten any wall with some happy imagery and a big splash of colour.
