About The Artwork
I am sketching and painting these contemporary profiles inspired by the dark side of our human mind. Maybe they can work like a mirror for everyone (like for me) to frankly recognize the personal dark side. Following an holistic vision of the mind which perceives the mystery inside and beyond oneself. It is too much fun for me to do it. I choose the medium and the materials according to the expressivity of the subjects. For my drawings I am using Fabriano paper because it is an historical Italian brand that has produced paper for fine art since 1264 AC – recently also a prestigious English paper of which I love enjoying the soft skin. I am also proposing here a graphic edition of my works “The other side” to enjoy the various appearances of the same fickle and dark subjects.
