What/who inspired the work? The translation of this verse has inspired me to paint it because, in this verse, the Man says to his Lord that “We worship only You and seek help from You” What do you hope its viewers will feel/think? The red color is used for power, love, and strength, and here its use shows trust in the Lord. The interaction with this color will attract its viewer to think about the beauty and deep message in this calligraphy Why did you choose the medium, subject matter, and style? These calligraphies are usually done with a pen and a dowt (ink). In the Holy Quran, the pen is sworn and the pen is attributed with power because the traditional calligraphy is done with a pen, so I usually use it to paint
