About The Artwork
This painting started as a pour of watercolor paint to see what would be suggested as a subject. The blues suggested water and I started to negative paint (paint the background around the subject) a fish in coral and a sea turtle in the sand. This is one of my favorite paintings because it felt like pulling magic out of the paper.
