About The Artwork
This painting is from my 2017 "The Wisdom of Winter" series. Each of these paintings are soft, subtle shades of neutrals, with special emphasis on composition, line and color. All are 24" x 18" inches (60.96 cm x 45.72 cm) and are acrylics on sturdy, 140# watercolor paper that has been primed with top quality, thick & creamy gesso. 100% original and made by me with quality materials including Golden, Liquitex and Windsor-Newton acrylic paints; conte pencils; charcoal; graphite; gesso; and gel mediums. Each painting is finished with an additional 2 coats of protective UV varnish in a satin finish. The paper I use is a quality 140# watercolor paper from France. Title: "The River, She Rises" Size: 18" x 24" (45.72 cm x 60.96 cm) Substrate: 140# watercolor paper This listing is for the painting only and is NOT MATTED and is NOT FRAMED. Mediums used: acrylics, charcoal, graphite, conte pencil, gesso, gel medium and satin varnish.
