Although I am an abstract painter, my work is sometimes nature inspired.I learnt how to choose and use my subject matter in ways that give my picture individuality. Here the focus is on the contrast between black and color. I believe black is such a strong element in art and often overpowers all other colors. I love black, "the queen of color" (Renoir).However, highlight in this painting is glitter: shiny pieces represent stars. They will tell you what you imagine!
