"The Study Of A Helping Hand" is a three-piece artwork which describes different stages of such a natural, yet complicated task of helping another human. The first stage is a rejection of help. In this artwork, it's represented with a hand that shows a middle finger in anger and disguise. The second stage is the connection. In this artwork, it's represented by two hands reaching out to each other, not knowing whether they will be able to help each other yet or not. The third stage is exhaustion. In this artwork, it's represented by a hand, which is pure bones and veins. It's been helping so much that it has lost any other substance. (C) 2008 TRANSLATED POETRY (ENGLISH) You know, the strong ones don't cry! They do not hit against their own might those who fell down, like many do, Instead, they lift them in the fight. You know, the strong ones don't cry! They don’t bow down their heads. They don’t come to angels for coin change And do not steal someone else’s bread. You know, the strong ones do not cry! ... They howl at the moon, like wolves, About the confusion of good luck, About the pain of deep wounds. (C) 2008

Elena Emma's unique painting and writing style exudes infinite inner depth and freedom. All of her paintings, completed with an illustrative playful touch, have a piece of unique, immensely deep poetry dedicated to them, contrasting the complexity of adult-like subjects with child-like strokes. As a diverse writer, emerging artist, startup consultant and entrepreneur, a professor, a mother of two boys, and a passionate, curious, and spiritual woman, Elena draws her inspiration from experiential fearlessness, deep observational analysis, continuous soul searching, and never-ending internal and external growth. Her visual and written stories, often told from a female perspective, concentrate on exploring the larger picture in business, love, and being. They stimulate the reader and the viewer with open-ended questions and strong encouragement to find his or her own truth. Her characters and situations are multi-dimensional, and through them, she often challenges widely-accepted designations of personal and professional, new and old, right and wrong, good and bad, blurring the preset differences between these terms, and offering new definitions. Elena is the authentic "voice" of her generation, of those born in the 1980s and 1990s to a world of distorted physical, geographical, and moral boundaries, who are yet to find balance between the inborn inner wisdom and cynical dissonance of outside happenings. Be it fiction, nonfiction, poetry, or paintings, Elena Emma's artwork will leave you mildly teary-eyed and contemplative about your own daily existence and the changes you can make to it. THE SKY IS NO LIMIT.
